New arrival, meet Stanley the 6 week old kune kune piglet!He is the only survivor of a litter born into a horrendous back yard breeding operation, but luckily got rescued by a vet, and has been in foster care ( through a wonderful pig rescue called Pigs in the Woods) since.He is a wee cutie, confident for his age, and is taking it all in his tiny stride.He refuses to drink water unless it's got oat milk in it, and enjoys grapes and other soft fruit.He has not met the other pigs yet 😆Welcome to the fam, tiny one!#pigsinthewoods #friendsnotfood #piglet #govegan ... We've called her Hope ❤️She is now on stronger antibiotics, steroids and pain relief to get the wounds under control.The vet is hopeful that she will be able to get strength back in her legs with time, we need to stand her up a few times a day to help her regain balance and good circulation.This is our makeshift set up to keep her standing for short stints, but it works for now.For now Hope needs round the clock care, but all going well she will regain her independence ...
