The turkey babies have discovered the joys of watermelon!Unfortunately from today all our birds will need to stay indoors, because of the threat of avian flu. The government hasn't called for a nationwide flock down, but there has been an outbreak in a commercial poultry farm near Lanark, putting us in the 10k surveillance zone.For us this means keeping the birds in, disinfectant footbaths and logging all visitors until the danger has passed, whenever that may be.Needs must and all that 😕 ...
